It is the 20-minute head part of every Velvet Wind package. The name comes from the Thai 'sen' (energy lines) and the English word 'sense'. It starts with a hot towel, then the therapist works by hand along the sen lines of the head. No oil, water or gel is used on the hair.
No. There is no hair washing and no air is blown on the head — it is a dry, hands-only head massage with a hot towel. Your hair stays free of oil, water and gel during the head part.
Shirodhara, in our Ayurveda packages, pours warm oil over the forehead. The Velvet Wind packages use no oil on the head, so there is no oil to wash out of your hair after the head part.
Velvet Wind 80 pairs the head massage with a CORAN à la maison Natural Facial Treatment. Velvet Wind 90 and 120 pair it with an aroma oil full body massage. From 150 minutes, a Lotus Body Scrub is added, and the longer packages add an Organic Herbal Ball and a facial. Every package includes the 20-minute Sens Dry Head Massage.
