When Bangkok's rainy season begins, the booking pattern at CORAN shifts slightly. It's called low season, but the Tourism Authority of Thailand runs promotions during this period, so tourists do still come. What changes is the ratio — a few more Bangkok residents, a few fewer international travelers. Thai rainy season runs May through October. Heavy rain falls for short stretches, then it clears. Daytime temperatures stay high. Humidity above 80%, the stickiness on the skin, and the temperature gap from over-cooled interiors — somehow, the body gets tired.
Bodies in the rainy season are a little different from bodies in the dry season. Skin looks moist on the surface, but the barrier function is often down. More clients report headaches and migraines in the humid weeks. Cold and flushing can happen at the same time. That said, the effect varies a lot by person. There are people who like the rainy season and feel better in it, and people who feel heavy through the months. We don't say 'this is what rainy season does' as a rule — we ask each client about their state and decide the treatment from there.

Not 'cure dramatically' — more like 'help you carry the rainy season a bit more lightly.'
Honestly, there are times when coming to a spa during the rainy season isn't ideal. If you arrive right after a heavy thunderstorm with hair and clothes soaked, the change and shower time gets long. If you have plans to walk outdoors right after the treatment, the oils we apply will get rinsed away by the rain. We don't think 'come because it's rainy season.'
